Tarn Trail
Length: .8 mile from the North end of the Tarn to the intersection with the Canon Brook Trail
Difficulty Rating: Easy/Moderate
The Tarn Trail skirts the west side of the Tarn. The trail does not have significant elevation gain or loss but can seem difficult because of occasional boulder scrambles. Because of its close location to the Tarn, portions of the trail can flood easily and occasionally be under water. At the South end of the Tarn, the trail moves into mixed woods and continues until it intersects with the Canon Brook Trail. This trail can easily be hiked in conjunction with many of the Dorr Mountain trails while hiking a loop. It’s also a great short hike on its own.
