One of the more difficult trails up Dorr Mountain, this trail challenges hikers with steep granite steps and 3 ladders affixed to the sides of large boulders spaced throughout the trail. The Ladder trail begins its ascent of the east face of Dorr Mountain at the junction with the Tarn trail, at the south end of the Tarn. The trail gains elevation rapidly until joining the Dorr Mountain trail.
